This page covers what you’re allowed to do with the guide’s pages. Most ordinary uses are fine: reading them, linking to them, printing them for yourself and quoting a short passage with a link back. What isn’t allowed is copying pages wholesale, harvesting them with automated tools, attacking or overloading the site, or posing as this guide or as Vegasino.

Using the site

Vegasino Australia Guide is meant for personal, non-commercial reading, so saving a page for later or sending a link to a friend is fine. Since every page deals with a gambling brand, anyone under 18 should stay off the site.

You won’t find accounts, comment boxes, file uploads or sign-up forms here, which leaves nothing to register for and nothing to post. Should any of that be added, this page will change with it.

Responsibility and the limits of our liability are dealt with in the terms and conditions for this guide, which apply alongside these rules. If this is the first page you’ve opened, head back to where this guide starts for the guide itself.

Copying and quoting

The site’s owner holds the rights in its text, tables, calculations and page layouts. The images are illustrations produced for this guide, and none of them is a screenshot of Vegasino’s site.

You can quote a few sentences as long as you link to the page they came from and leave the meaning and the check date intact. Anything longer needs written permission from the editors.

Automated access

Every page is open to search engines and ordinary browsers. Besides the bulk scraping already ruled out in the table, these are off limits as well:

  • trying to reach parts of the site that aren’t public, or probing it for weaknesses;
  • getting around any technical limit we set to protect the site;
  • disguising automated requests as an ordinary visitor to slip past those limits;
  • sending spam or malicious code through our pages or our contact address.

Linking to this site

No permission is needed to link to any page. The link text and the page around it mustn’t suggest that we endorse or work with your site, or present your site as this guide or as the operator. When you cite one of our figures, link to the page it appears on so readers can see when it was checked. We may ask you to remove a link that breaks these rules.

Trade marks and third-party names

The Vegasino name and logo are their owner’s property, as are the name NovaForge Ltd and the names of games, software providers, payment methods and organisations mentioned on this site. We use them only to identify what we’re writing about and to point to sources.

This guide isn’t connected with the Australian Communications and Media Authority (ACMA), BetStop, Gambling Help Online, state and territory gambling regulators, the licensing authority on Anjouan or any sporting league, and it doesn’t carry their logos. Seeing a name here is no sign that its owner has approved or reviewed the guide. If you own a name or mark used on the site and believe we’ve used it wrongly, let us know and we’ll look into it.

Messages you send us

The site has no forms, so to send a correction or a tip, email the editors. Include only what we need to check your point, and leave out passwords, identity documents, card details and Vegasino account details. We have no access to anyone’s casino account and no way to act on one, so that information would be of no use to us.

Sending a correction or tip confirms that, as far as you know, it’s accurate and yours to share, and it lets us use the information to check and update our pages. We won’t publish your message or your name without asking you first. Storage and use of your email address are covered in our privacy policy for this site.

Availability of the site

The site is provided as it stands on any given day. Pages may change or disappear without notice, and maintenance or a technical fault can leave the site slow or offline.

Links out of the site, Vegasino’s included, can break as well: operators move to new web addresses, and Australian internet providers block some gambling sites at the ACMA’s request. We don’t offer a way around those blocks, and we won’t point you to one.

Ending access and changes to these rules

Anyone who breaks these rules can have their access to the site blocked, be asked to take copied material down or be reported to their hosting or network provider, and we can take any other step the law allows. If you spot a copy of our pages on another site, report it to the email address used for corrections.

The rules are revised as the site changes. A new version applies from the moment it’s published here with a date in the “Updated” line, and if you go on using the site, you accept it.
