Before relying on anything here, read this page. Vegasino Australia Guide reports on Vegasino, an offshore casino and sportsbook, for an audience aged 18 and over. No bets are placed and no money changes hands on this site, and none of the figures on these pages promises a win. If gambling is hurting you or someone close to you, call Gambling Help on 1800 858 858.

18+ only

This site, like gambling itself, is off limits to anyone younger than 18; Vegasino applies that age to its own customers too. Gambling can harm you and the people around you. Before you start, settle on a deposit limit and a time limit, stake only money you can afford to lose, and take regular breaks.

Gambling Help on 1800 858 858 costs nothing and is confidential, with calls answered 24/7. For chat and email counselling, go to gamblinghelponline.org.au; Lifeline answers on 13 11 14 around the clock. More Australian services are listed on our page about responsible gambling and help.

Gambling carries real risk

Any spin or bet can lose, and you can always lose the whole of a deposit. Taking a bonus leaves that risk where it was and adds wagering conditions you have to meet before any related winnings can be withdrawn.

Where a number on this site is labelled “Modelled from the T&C”, it’s our own arithmetic on Vegasino’s published terms, for instance how much you’d have to bet to clear a bonus on a particular deposit. Such a model is there to illustrate a rule. It can’t forecast your result, and no real-money account sits behind it. Budget for gambling the way you would for any other entertainment, and treat that money as already spent.

General information only

What you read here is general information about a single brand. It isn’t legal or financial advice, and it can’t tell you whether gambling suits your circumstances. Tax questions belong with the ATO or a registered tax agent, since nothing here is tax advice either.

Our ratings and verdicts, the score on our rating page among them, reflect the editors’ view on the date printed beside each one. The split of responsibility between this site, the operator and you is laid out in our terms and conditions.

Facts and offers change

Bonuses belong to the operator, and so do their terms. Those usually include a wagering requirement, a maximum bet while the bonus is active, different contribution rates for different games, a deadline and sometimes a cap on what free spins can pay out. The operator can change or pull an offer whenever it likes, and not every offer is open to every player or in every location. The current terms on the operator’s site are the ones to read before you put money in.

Figures here carry a “Checked” date, which records the last time we confirmed them against the source. After that day a number can go out of date without our noticing. If one of our pages conflicts with Vegasino’s current terms, the operator’s terms are what count for your account. Every label we use is explained on our page about how we date and source each fact.

The law depends on where you are

In Australia, online casino games and betting are covered at two levels: Commonwealth law, mainly the Interactive Gambling Act 2001, and the rules of your state or territory. Enforcement of the federal Act falls to the Australian Communications and Media Authority (ACMA). Find out which rules apply where you live before you play.

Vegasino’s operator is based offshore. The brand has no Australian state or territory licence and doesn’t appear on the ACMA’s register of licensed interactive wagering providers. Review sites make claims about an overseas licence, and how those claims compare with the registers is laid out on our page about what we found on Vegasino’s licence.

The ACMA also requests that Australian internet providers block gambling websites, and it publishes the list of blocked addresses. Gambling operators’ addresses change, get added to that list or go dead, which means a link or domain name on this site may fail to open. A blocked site or a closed account can cut off your ability to log in, deposit or withdraw. Nothing here offers a route around those restrictions, and we advise against looking for one. The way the Act and the ACMA’s actions bear on this brand is covered on our page about the law on offshore casinos.

This site and the operator

Our role is purely editorial. Inside a Vegasino account, the games, the payments and the handling of complaints are down to the operator, whose terms and conditions decide, among other things, whether and when a withdrawal is paid. Australian consumer protections and the complaint processes of Australian regulators may not reach an offshore operator.

When we link to the ACMA, Gambling Help Online, BetStop or other sites outside our control, it’s to cite them as sources. A mention here implies neither a connection with this site nor an endorsement of it, and they answer for their own content and policies.
