The Vegasino sportsbook menu lists seven sports: football (soccer), tennis, table tennis, basketball, ice hockey, American football and baseball. Under the Interactive Gambling Act 2001, sports betting offered to people in Australia needs an Australian state or territory licence, and in-play betting can’t be offered online. Vegasino holds no such licence.

What the Vegasino sportsbook covers

Vegasino’s own sports page text, in a snapshot dated 4 October 2025, adds horse racing and e-sports to the menu list. What none of the sources lists is the competitions inside each sport, and that’s the detail an Australian punter needs.

What to check before you deposit for local sport

A sports count says little about how deep the markets go, and no review we read gets into the Australian codes. Before a first deposit, check these yourself:

  • Footy: find the next fixture in either code and see whether the event page offers head-to-head, line and total markets, and whether same-game multis exist at all.
  • Racing: open a Flemington meeting and look for fixed-odds win and place prices and an each-way option.
  • Bonus fit: if you plan to clear the sports bonus on local games, confirm the prices you’d back reach 2.00 for a single or 1.50 per multi leg.
  • Bet slip: add a selection and note the maximum stake the slip accepts, because Vegasino doesn’t publish sports stake limits.

Spring calendar, checked 5 October 2026: both grand finals are over for 2026, the AFL on 26 September and the NRL on 4 October. The Melbourne Cup follows at Flemington on Tuesday 3 November 2026. With Vegasino’s racing coverage unconfirmed, check whether the Cup appears in the betting section at all.

Sports welcome bonus: 100% up to A$150

Vegasino’s AU sports promotions page carries the headline offer. The rollover and odds rules come from its Italian terms page from December 2025 and from PlayCasino, and the two match. Only reviewers give the A$ minimum deposit.

Term Rule Basis
Match 100% of the first deposit, up to A$150 Vegasino AU sports promotions page; PlayCasino
Minimum deposit A$30 Reviewers; the Italian page quotes a euro amount
Rollover 6x deposit plus bonus Italian terms page; PlayCasino
Qualifying odds Singles at 2.00 or higher, or multi legs at 1.50 or higher Italian terms page; PlayCasino
Time limit 30 days Italian terms page; PlayCasino
Excluded deposits Skrill and Neteller Italian terms page
Maximum stake that counts Quoted in euros only; no A$ figure published Italian terms page

Put in A$100 and you have A$200 to bet with and A$1,200 of qualifying bets to place. The scenario table below runs the same sum for the minimum deposit and for the one that takes the full bonus.

Modelled: what the A$1,200 rollover costs

Every bet carries the bookmaker’s margin, so A$1,200 of bets comes with an expected cost. At a 5% margin it’s A$60, which leaves the A$100 bonus about A$40 ahead on average. At 8% the cost climbs to A$96 and the edge is down to A$4. The break-even margin is 8.33%, since A$100 of bonus divided by A$1,200 of bets is one-twelfth. Multis move the sum quickly: two legs at 5% each carry a combined margin of 9.75%, so a rollover cleared on two-leg multis is expected to finish below zero.

A$605% marginA$968% marginA$1008.33%break-evenA$1172-leg multi(5%/leg)
A$100 deposit: expected cost of A$1,200 in bonus bets, by margin

Modelled from the sports-bonus terms, checked 05/10/2026. Margins are assumed; Vegasino's prices weren't measured. Bonus: A$100.

Deposit Bonus Bets to place Cost at 5% Result at 5% Cost at 8% Result at 8%
A$30 A$30 A$360 A$18.00 +A$12.00 A$28.80 +A$1.20
A$100 A$100 A$1,200 A$60.00 +A$40.00 A$96.00 +A$4.00
A$150 A$150 A$1,800 A$90.00 +A$60.00 A$144.00 +A$6.00

Individual runs land a long way from those averages. In a 20,000-run simulation of A$10 singles at exactly 2.00 on a A$100 deposit, 83.6% of runs finished the rollover at a 5% margin and 75.1% at 8%, and at 8% only 47.9% ended with more than the A$100 deposited.

Modelled from the sports-bonus terms reported by reviewers and Vegasino’s Italian terms page, checked 05/10/2026. The 5% and 8% margins are assumptions; we haven’t measured Vegasino’s odds.

The casino side has its own match with 35x wagering, worked through on our page about the casino-side match offer.

Other Vegasino sports promotions

Besides the welcome match, Vegasino’s AU sports promotions page (snapshot dated 11 April 2026) lists five offers, and only two come with terms we could check. PlayCasino names three more.

Promotion Headline What we know Basis
Weekly Reload 50% up to A$750 Vegasino’s Italian page sets an 8x rollover on the deposit; check the AU terms before you claim AU page; Italian page
Sport Cashback 10% up to A$750 Weekly net losses, Monday to Sunday, credited on Monday, 3x wagering, opt-in AU page; reviewers
Parlay Boost 3% for 3 legs up to 100% for 21+ legs Described by one reviewer; AU availability not confirmed PlayCasino only

The remaining three AU offers show a name and a headline figure, with no mechanics on the page: Accumulator Boost (A$150,000), Bore Draw (A$30,000) and Early Payout (A$75,000). PlayCasino’s other two, Booking Code and Bet Mentor, come without a description we could check. Any boost on a long multi is paid on a price that already carries the margin of every leg, and the next section puts A$ figures on that.

Check the sports offer and the qualifying odds in the cashier before you deposit.

Bookmaker margin: what it costs per A$100

Margin is the bookmaker’s built-in cut. Add up 1 divided by each price in a market: the amount over 1 is the overround, and 1 minus 1 divided by that total is the hold, the share of all stakes the book expects to keep. Take a head-to-head market at 1.90 on both teams: 1/1.90 + 1/1.90 = 1.0526, an overround of 5.26% and a hold of 5.00%. Those prices are a worked example, and we haven’t measured Vegasino’s margins.

In money terms, the hold is roughly what you give up on average for every A$100 you bet, whatever happens on the day:

Bet type Margin Average cost per A$100 staked
Single, 5% market 5.00% A$5.00
Single, 8% market 8.00% A$8.00
Sports bonus break-even 8.33% A$8.33
2-leg multi, 5% a leg 9.75% A$9.75
3-leg multi, 5% a leg 14.26% A$14.26
2-leg multi, 8% a leg 15.36% A$15.36
3-leg multi, 8% a leg 22.13% A$22.13

Same-game multis follow the same arithmetic, since they bundle several legs from one match. To test Vegasino yourself, note the prices on 10 or so head-to-head markets (local footy if it’s listed), run the sum above and compare the average hold with the break-even row in the table. If it comes in under that row, singles keep the sports bonus worth taking. Any higher and the rollover is expected to cost more than the bonus pays.

In-play betting and Australian law

No bookmaker with an Australian licence can take bets online once an event has started, which is the in-play rule from the top of this page. Vegasino’s menu carries a Live Betting section all the same. The ACMA’s formal warning to NovaForge Ltd, dated 3 November 2025 and published on 2 February 2026, records that the services offered to customers in Australia included casino games and betting, in-play betting among them.

Bets placed there don’t carry the protections attached to Australian wagering. The ACMA warns that Australian regulators can’t help if an offshore operator holds back winnings, and that a blocked site may stop you logging in to your account. BetStop only covers wagering providers that hold an Australian licence, so offshore operators sit outside it; our page on BetStop and help services lists the support that does reach you. The wider picture, including payment rules that start on 1 January 2027, is on the page about in-play betting rules in Australia.

Vegasino is run by an offshore operator, and the ACMA names NovaForge Ltd as its provider. Vegasino holds no Australian state or territory licence and isn’t on the ACMA’s register of licensed interactive wagering providers. It doesn’t publish a licence number on the pages we could read.

Deposits, payouts and bet limits

Deposit methods for Australian accounts are compared under Vegasino deposit options. Withdrawals are processed Monday to Friday, 6:00am to 5:00pm GMT, in up to 3 business days, within level-1 limits of A$800 a day and A$10,500 a month, and reviewers report a 10% fee (15% for card or bank deposits) on a deposit withdrawn before it’s been wagered once; Vegasino cash-out limits sets out how long a large balance takes. Maximum sports stakes and payouts aren’t published in the sources we checked, which leaves the bet slip as the only guide.

Vegasino sports betting FAQ

Can I bet on AFL, NRL or horse racing at Vegasino?

Not confirmed. Horse racing gets one mention in Vegasino’s sports page text from October 2025, and neither league appears in any source we checked. Search for the fixture or race meeting before you deposit.

Does Vegasino take bets on esports?

Its sports page text from October 2025 names e-sports, and the sports menu has a Virtual Sports section. We haven’t seen which games or leagues either one covers.

What odds count towards the Vegasino sports bonus?

Singles at 2.00 or higher, or multis whose legs are each 1.50 or higher. You have 30 days to bet 6 times your deposit plus the bonus, per Vegasino’s Italian terms and PlayCasino.

Is the sports bonus easier to clear than the casino bonus?

In volume, yes: you bet 12 times the sports bonus amount, against 70 times for the casino welcome offer. Whether it pays depends on the bookmaker’s margin, which has to stay under one-twelfth of what you stake, and we haven’t measured Vegasino’s margins.
