Vegasino can ask for five things: ID, proof of address, proof of payment, source of funds and bank details. Its Privacy Notice and bonus terms let it ask at the bonus stage or at withdrawal, and reviewers say the request usually comes with your first cash-out.
What Vegasino asks you to verify
| Document or data | Why it’s asked | Where Vegasino says so |
|---|---|---|
| ID: identity card, driving licence or passport number | Confirms who holds the account | Privacy Notice |
| Proof of address | Confirms where you live | Privacy Notice |
| Proof of payment: the card, e-wallet or account you deposit with | Matches payments to your name; can be requested before a bonus is credited or a withdrawal is processed | Welcome-bonus terms |
| Source of funds or wealth | Listed among the data it collects for due diligence | Privacy Notice |
| Bank details and statements | Listed among the data it collects for due diligence | Privacy Notice |
| Selfie or video check | No mention | Not found in the Privacy Notice or bonus terms we read |
Sources: the Privacy Notice (effective October 2024, archived 8 October 2025) and the welcome-bonus terms (snapshot dated 9 February 2026). Neither says how recent an address document must be or which file formats are accepted.
Source-of-funds questions
Here the casino wants to know where the money you deposit comes from, such as wages, savings or the sale of a car. The Privacy Notice lists the item but gives no deposit level that triggers the question. If you play from savings, a recent payslip or a bank statement showing the balance normally covers it, and having one ready spares you a round of emails while a withdrawal sits waiting.
Australian documents that usually work
| Document | What usually works | Why it gets sent back |
|---|---|---|
| Photo ID | Australian driver licence or passport, in date, every edge in the frame | Expired; corners cropped; glare over the photo or number; name differs from the account |
| Proof of address | Utility bill or bank statement in your name | Address differs from the one on your account; older than the operator accepts |
| Proof of payment | Card photo with the middle digits covered; e-wallet profile page showing your name; the deposit line on a bank statement | Card or wallet belongs to someone else; your name isn’t visible |
| Source of funds | Recent payslip, savings statement, sale contract | Amounts don’t line up with your deposits; unreadable scan |
The middle and right columns describe general verification practice in Australia. Vegasino’s own pages name the document types without saying which versions it accepts.
When verification happens

Illustration only; Vegasino’s upload page may look different.
Usually before your first withdrawal
PlayCasino and other review sites report that documents are requested at your first withdrawal and that registration asks for none. Players describe the same pattern. A Trustpilot review dated 29 August 2026 mentions no document request at sign-up and friction at the payout stage, while a Casino Guru forum post from around June 2026 describes a sportsbook account left “under review” for 7 months after verification. As long as the check is running, the withdrawal stays in the queue. Daily caps and processing hours are in our guide to how Vegasino processes and caps withdrawals.
Verify before you need the money
We’d send documents in the first days after opening the account, before a win depends on them. At level 1 you can withdraw A$800 a day, so a A$2,500 balance already takes 4 days of requests (modelled from the T&C). Leave verification until then and the check sits in front of every one of those requests. Once you’ve followed our Vegasino registration guide, look for an upload option in the account. The Help Centre has a My Account & Verification section; if no upload appears, ask live chat to open a verification request.
How long verification takes
| Window | Length | Who it applies to | Source |
|---|---|---|---|
| Sending your documents | 30 days after Vegasino’s request | You | Gambling.com, HelloBonuses and a copy of the terms |
| The casino’s check | Usually up to about 10 days after your documents are complete | Vegasino | Gambling.com, HelloBonuses; LCB.org reports 0 to 10 days |
| Withdrawal processing | Up to 3 business days, Monday to Friday, 6:00am to 5:00pm GMT | Vegasino’s finance team | Several review sites |
| Welcome-bonus wagering | 10 days from activation | You | Welcome-bonus terms |

Not the same 10 days
Three clocks at Vegasino run for 10 days: the welcome-bonus wagering window, the free-spin drip of 20 spins a day, and the usual verification check. Each runs on its own, so clearing your wagering early does nothing to speed up the check. If verification only starts at your first withdrawal, the stated windows add up to about 10 days of checks plus up to 3 business days of processing, which is close to two weeks on the calendar. Modelled by adding the two stated windows.
AML in plain terms
AML stands for anti-money-laundering. Under these rules a gambling operator confirms who its customer is, asks where larger sums come from and watches for payments that look unusual, such as a big deposit withdrawn with little play. In practice that asks two things of you. First, pay in and cash out as the account holder, from a card or wallet in your own name; a partner’s card is the classic mismatch. Second, withdraw to the method you deposited with where possible.
The casino pages available to us showed no separate AML policy, and we couldn’t confirm which regulator oversees its checks: the Anjouan licence quoted by review sites wasn’t listed in Anjouan’s public register on 5 October 2026 (more in the licence claims we checked). This section gives a general explanation and isn’t legal advice.
If your verification stalls
Count from the day your last document went in. Inside about 10 days, a chat reminder is enough. After that:
- Ask live chat which document is outstanding and note the reference number.
- Email support listing what you sent and on which dates, so the request exists in writing.
- Re-upload only inside your account, never through a link in an SMS or email.
- If the account stays “under review” with no new request, use the steps on our Vegasino support and complaints page.
A verified account doesn’t always mean the trouble is over. A Casino Guru complaint from May 2026 describes withdrawal requests cancelled every 2 to 3 weeks on an account that had already passed KYC.
Keep your documents safe
Upload through your logged-in account, or email the support address you looked up yourself in the Help Centre. Requests for documents should only come through your account; if a request for your passport or bank statement arrives by SMS, an email reply or a link, stop and check with live chat first. Before uploading, cover anything the check doesn’t need, such as the middle digits of a card number, the card’s security code and unrelated lines on a statement. Passwords and fake pages are covered in protecting your Vegasino account; bonuses and games are in our Vegasino AU guide.
