Two registers settle the licence question, and Vegasino is missing from both. The number review sites quote isn’t in Anjouan’s public register. The register of licensed wagering providers kept by the Australian Communications and Media Authority (ACMA) has no entry for Vegasino or for NovaForge Ltd, the company the ACMA identifies as the brand’s provider.

The short answer

Confirmed: the ACMA names NovaForge Ltd as the provider of Vegasino and states that the company isn’t licensed by any Australian state or territory.

Not confirmed: the Anjouan licence that review sites quote. Anjouan’s register shows no entry for its number, for NovaForge Ltd or for Vegasino.

Not published by Vegasino: a licence number, the operating company’s name, its address and its registration number, on any page we could read.

Checked: 5 October 2026.

Who operates Vegasino

The operator the ACMA names

A formal warning from the ACMA, dated 3 November 2025 and published on 2 February 2026, names NovaForge Ltd as the provider of two brands, Quick Win and Vegasino. It found that NovaForge Ltd had provided Vegasino to customers in Australia without an Australian licence. The same company appears against the same brands in the ACMA’s quarterly report for October to December 2025. The ACMA formal warning to NovaForge Ltd can be read in full.

Vegasino is far from the company’s only brand. On 5 October 2026 the ACMA’s investigations register showed 10 formal warnings to NovaForge Ltd covering 23 brands, Vegasino included (our count from the register). Casino Guru and WorldWideGamblers give NovaForge Ltd as the operator too, while other review sites name a scatter of different companies. We go with the one a government regulator has named.

What Vegasino itself says

Nowhere on the pages available to us does Vegasino name the company behind it. Its Privacy Notice says only that “the operator of this website is the Data Controller”, and the footer copyright reads “2026 © Vegasino.com”. No address or registration number for the operating company is published either. Third-party sites give two different addresses, and we repeat neither. The brand went live in August 2024, and reviewers put the launch on 19 August.

The licence reviewers quote

The number and where it comes from

According to Casino Guru, which labels the licence “Verified”, WorldWideGamblers and a few smaller review sites, Vegasino holds an Anjouan Gaming licence from the Comoros, number ALSI-152406028-FI2. We found that number on none of the Vegasino pages we could access. Until a register or Vegasino itself shows it, the number stays a claim made by review sites, and that’s how this page treats it.

What Vegasino’s footer showed

An Anjouan seal sits in archived snapshots of Vegasino’s footer dated 15 September to 20 November 2025. From 3 December 2025 the seal is absent in the footers we could check, and from 9 February 2026 the footer’s “Licenses” button has disappeared as well. We don’t know why. Because the footer may vary with the visitor’s country, the seal’s absence from our snapshots isn’t proof that it was taken down.

What we found in Anjouan’s register

Anjouan’s public licence register listed 1,539 valid licences on 5 October 2026, plus 1 suspended and 2 revoked on separate lists. ALSI-152406028-FI2 was on none of the three, and there was no entry for NovaForge Ltd or Vegasino. Numbers close to it in the same series do appear, issued to other companies.

The seal Vegasino displayed in 2025 now gets “Operating status: INVALID” from Anjouan’s validation page, though that result is weaker evidence than it looks. Pair the seal with an invented domain and the page gives the same answer, so it can’t tell a revoked licence apart from a seal that simply doesn’t match the domain, and we can’t say the licence was revoked. Anjouan’s own verification guidance is plainer on this: a certificate that can’t be verified in its public register shouldn’t be relied on as proof of a licence.

The licence claims we checked, where each one comes from and what we found:

Where an Anjouan licence stops

Even a valid Anjouan licence wouldn’t extend to players in Australia. Anjouan’s validation page lists “Excluded Territories: Australia, Comoros, France, Netherlands, Spain, United Kingdom, USA”. The line is standard text on that page and shows up for an unrelated domain as well, so Australia is excluded for every Anjouan licence holder, whoever they are.

In Australia itself, Vegasino has no state or territory licence. The ACMA’s register of licensed interactive wagering providers, which shows the online betting operators holding an Australian licence, lists neither Vegasino nor NovaForge Ltd.

What this means for a dispute

No licence has been confirmed in Anjouan or in Australia, which leaves no regulator to take a dispute to. The ACMA warns that if an offshore operator withholds winnings, Australian regulators can’t help, and that a blocked site may lock you out of your account. In December 2025 Australian internet providers were asked by the ACMA to block Vegasino websites, and it has already issued the operator a formal warning, so you could lose access to the site or your account at any point. The legal basis for that block is explained in Vegasino and Australian gambling law.

That leaves the operator’s own complaint process and independent complaint sites. Which to use first, and in what order, is set out in our guide to how to escalate a complaint with Vegasino. BetStop covers only wagering providers holding an Australian licence, so it doesn’t reach Vegasino. Other ways to block your own gambling are covered on our page of Australian help lines and self-exclusion.

How we checked this

On 5 October 2026 we searched Anjouan’s valid, suspended and revoked lists for the number, the company and the brand, then ran the seal from Vegasino’s 2025 footer through Anjouan’s validation page twice: once with Vegasino’s domain and once with an invented one. The newest licence in the register had been issued on 30 September 2026, which told us the list was up to date. For the ACMA, we read the formal warning, the October to December 2025 quarterly report, the investigations register and the register of licensed providers. Vegasino’s own pages came from dated archive snapshots, as our fact-checking method describes.

This page would change if Vegasino published a licence number that then turned up in Anjouan’s register, or if the ACMA made new findings about the operator. Whether the missing licence rules Vegasino out for you is weighed up in our verdict on Vegasino; for payments, games and bonus terms, see our guide to Vegasino for Aussie players.

Vegasino licence FAQ

Is Vegasino licensed?

Vegasino publishes no licence number of its own. Review sites cite an Anjouan number, yet on 5 October 2026 Anjouan’s register showed nothing under that number, NovaForge Ltd or Vegasino. In Australia, Vegasino holds no licence at all.

Who owns Vegasino?

An ACMA formal warning dated 3 November 2025 names NovaForge Ltd as Vegasino’s provider. Vegasino itself gives no operating company and no address on the pages we were able to read.

What is licence ALSI-152406028-FI2?

Review sites attribute this Anjouan number to Vegasino. On 5 October 2026 it matched none of the 1,539 valid, 1 suspended or 2 revoked entries in Anjouan’s register.

Does an Anjouan licence cover Australian players?

No. Australia is on the list of excluded territories shown by Anjouan’s validation page, and the exclusion applies to every Anjouan licence holder.
